Apartment24 is the leading provider of furnished shared rooms in Switzerland, rented directly. In Zurich, Basel, Bern and many other cities, you will find our rooms in central locations.

- Affordable and fair! We rent as affordably as possible. Utilities and many services are already included in the rent | No hidden costs.
- Move in immediately! All rooms are fully furnished with modern furniture. Just bring your suitcase.
- Stay flexible! Our notice periods are short: 14 or 30 days. This keeps you flexible.
- Easy rental process! We do not require a debt collection record. Even if you have had financial difficulties in the past, everyone gets a chance with us.
- All-round service! Kitchen and bathroom are shared and cleaned regularly.
- Our belief! We believe that everyone deserves a home. At Apartment24 you are welcome – regardless of origin, nationality, gender or worldview. We only expect you to treat your roommates with respect.

History

Apartment24 was founded in 2010. It started with a simple observation: anyone who has had a debt collection record in Switzerland often finds it almost impossible to rent an apartment. For many people, a financial setback means that doors remain closed forever. Our founder wanted to change that. This is how Apartment24 was created: a housing concept that is affordable, even for people with low incomes. We designed our processes so that we can offer our tenants as much as possible without increasing costs. Every Swiss franc we save in operations is passed directly on. While rents in Switzerland have steadily increased in recent years, we were even able to reduce rents in some cases.

Mystery test 2025

Once or twice a year, our partners are evaluated through a mystery test. We assess cleanliness, apartment presentation and personal support and consultation.

In 2025, Lenka Marcakova (Basel) won the Apartment24 mystery test as best partner. Congratulations and thank you for your dedication!


Personal consultation in your region

We have an organizational structure optimized for our tenants. In Regensdorf, we welcome all tenants who wish to visit our office in person. All customer inquiries are also handled here. On-site support is provided by our Apartment24 partners. These local partners know their regions very well and can respond individually to requests. Nina leads our central customer service and handles all inquiries by phone, WhatsApp and email.
